In Transfiguration 2, I revisited the moment of radiant encounter within a square composition—distilling the ascent into pure stillness. The scene unfolds through soft transitions of crimson, peach, and light, inviting the viewer into quiet contemplation and renewal.
This painting is a meditation on transformation. By compressing the vertical ascent of the original Transfiguration into a centered square, I sought to capture the pause within revelation—the instant when everything stands illuminated and time seems to fold. The warm field carries a sense of awe and nearness, as if light itself were breathing.
