Vessels 2 is a vertical 3:4 open-edition fine art print—an abstract meditation on capacity, readiness, and calling. A quiet figure stands beside two jars under a gentle halo, inviting reflection without overwhelming the room. Part of the Boho Collection. Available on archival paper, canvas, metal (ChromaLuxe), and acrylic, with solid-wood box framing and optional mats (2″/3″/4″). Sizes: 9×12, 18×24, 24×32, 30×40, 36×48; 48×64 (metal only). Produced by Bay Photo (USA) for color fidelity and longevity.
Artwork Statement
A figure waits beside vessels—capacity meeting calling. I painted this image as a quiet study of stewardship and readiness: what we carry, what we pour out, and how light finds us when we stand available. The cool blues hold calm; the soft halo suggests purpose without noise. For the making-of details, see the Artist Notes below.
Variation & Edition Notes
Edition: Open Edition Fine Art Print derived from my original acrylic on paper.
Composition update: simplified from three vessels to two for a clearer relational read and stronger negative space.
Print mastering: raised micro-contrast, clarified edge seams, and balanced halo so the piece reads cleanly from across the room.
Aspect: vertical 3:4 maintained for all sizes on this page.
Color & Mood
Palette: cerulean, turquoise, and teal with a gentle ivory-gold halo.
Mood: contemplative, steady, invitational.
Read: calm field with a luminous focal—quiet presence, not glare.
Design Notes
Subject: vessel symbolism—capacity, readiness, and filling.
Fulfillment: produced by Bay Photo (USA) to archival standards.
Bathroom suitability
Best in Metal or Acrylic for humidity; framed paper prefers dry, well-ventilated rooms.

*Sizing chart on product page shows width × height, in inches.
Artist Notes (expanded)
I built this from a small acrylic study on paper (private collection, estimated ≤9×12). The first version carried three jars; in Vessels 2 I kept two and let the figure breathe—more room for the halo and for the viewer. Thin cool glazes kept the field calm; I lifted light on the jar shoulders and drew a few knife seams so the eye lands where vessel meets purpose.
The halo arrived late—scumbled, honeyed passes that sit on top of the blue like oil on water. I wanted the symbolism clear but quiet: capacity and calling, available and ready. For some, the figure reads spiritually (Isa 64:8; 2 Tim 2:21); for others, it’s a clean, modern still life with a steady vertical.
These “vessel” works sit with my ongoing themes of service, lineage, and preparation. In kitchens, entries, studies, or hospitality rooms, the piece holds the room like a calm breath—present, useful, and light-bearing.
Archival inks and substrates; calibrated color workflow.
Handle with clean, dry hands; avoid prolonged direct sunlight and high heat.
Metal/Acrylic: wipe with a soft, slightly damp non-ammonia cloth; Paper/Canvas: dust only.
